Pros Number One – Trusted Brand
So, starting off with the first pro. It’s a halo board, that’s all I can say about the first pro. A halo board is a very trusted company when it comes to hoverboards, and obviously, I like your skateboards. So, that’s something you can consider when purchasing. This a lot of great reviews for the halo board. I’ve actually only had one problem with it.
Cons Number One – The Remote
Here’s moving on with the first con. That is the remote. The remote is made of very cheap material. It feels very good, this is like rubbery plastic of some sort, the one thing I don’t like about it, is actually, this is my second remote. This button comes off alright, I can try to take it off right now.
This little protection for the screen comes off too. I don’t know, it’s it drops very easily, not much encryption, very slippery, and the flashlight is bright, but not very bright. It’s okay, but it’s like if you’re driving a sports car, and you’re thinking, where’s all the luxury or you’re driving a Mustang, and you’re thinking, where’s all the luxury well come, and go return that car and get like a luxurious car. I mean honestly, the skateboard is very fast, and everything.
Pros Number Two -Fast Speed
The skateboard is very fast, and I really like the slow mode, how it goes 11 miles per hour, probably, max I think it was or 13, one of those depends on your weight. I’m fast, goes 23 miles an hour, and that’s pretty good. The screen is very helpful, it tells you the power of the remote and the power of the board. And it tells you, how many miles you’ve gone, and they haven’t gone 34 miles. It was kind of hard to explain.
It tells you the max you’ve gone. I went 10 miles an hour, and it tells you, your exact speed at the moment. So, that’s pretty cool, as you can see, if there’s a scratch right there, it’s not a very good remote, not really, but it is a bad remote than the older one where it didn’t have the screen. And it didn’t have a flashlight. All it had was the forward brakes, and fast in slow mode.
Cons Number Two – Remote Mis-Informations
The range is straight-up horrible. I have fallen off of the board, maybe almost falling off of it, like three times, because of the range of the remote to the board, while I was going about 20. I think 19 to 20 miles an hour. I tried to hit the brakes, and they wouldn’t go, and I just kept going.
I was about to hit a speed bump because I can’t go over speed bumps. I was about to go over a speed bump, and I couldn’t hit the brakes, and you know, we don’t want that to happen. That’s a con about that. It’s a very scary thing, actually, reported it to the halo board, and they told me to sink or unthink the remote to the board and then sank it back up again. And that actually worked perfectly, but then it happened again.
Halo Board Beast
So, I don’t know if this is a problem. I honestly, don’t. I don’t know how to explain it. Obviously, it’s just a problem that I can’t really do much about right now. That is a con about it, but don’t be too scared.
I gotta know how good this board is, and it’s been working pretty well. One thing that did happen is I was riding, and the ground was super wet. It is now. Except it was actually a little bit of weather, like actual big puddles of water, and I was literally riding the skateboard, and it started making this really weird noise.
