Design and Build Quality
The Board Beast builds on the design of the Halo Board 2, conserving the overall shape and look, however with some fundamental adjustments.

The swap to maple additionally removes the need for a broad strip of grip tape on top of the deck. Instead, a honeycomb grip design will assist to keep your feet secure and enable you to maneuver your Board Beast as you would like.
The ends of the Board Beast are narrower than we noticed on the Halo Board 2, with the wheels extra visible consequently. Another consequence of this is that the Board Beast has a more pronounced shape.
While the sides of the board stay curved and clean, retaining the sleekness of the design, the corners are far more noticeable than on the Halo Board 2.
Range And Speed
Both the Halo Board 2 and Beast are constructed for pace, however it’s the range that’s improved on the Beast. The Beast nonetheless has a top speed of 26mph, which is blazing. The vary, however, is up to 25 miles per charge.
That’s thanks to the upgraded Dual Direct-Drive brushless motor system. It boasts 3200 watts. It’s got great power and torque, so hills with grades as much as 25% are a breeze.
The battery is 10.4Ah, which is up from Halo 2’s 7Ah. The Beast’s battery has a protracted lifespan and it’s Certified FireSafe. Charging takes about 4-5 hours, which is longer than the Halo 2.

Downside Halo Board
- We don’t like the cost of the Board Beast. At the identical time, we did say this board is a perfect instance of getting what you pay for, and we’d 100% stick by that. Would we pay the price anyway even though we dislike it? We would, however we’d probably look forward to a discount or special provide worth earlier than we did.
- Charging Time. 4 – 5 hours is a very long time to wait to realize full charge on an e-board battery. Although it’s expected and we love the power and vary we get, it’s nonetheless a trade-off we’d slightly not cope with. The best method round it is to maintain your batteries topped up after each journey moderately than ready until it’s empty and doing a full cost. Trust us, the first journey after the primary cost is greater than well worth the wait!
- The beauty of skateboards, digital or not, is how straightforward they’re to hold round either yourself or in the car. The Board Beast takes a bit of of this away, coming in at a whopping 23 kilos! It’s not sufficient to place us off eager to own it, but it surely’s value being aware of earlier than parting along with your money.

Hello, I had my batt replaced on halo board gen 2 and it was working for a month. One night it quit on me. The power button LED wasnt workin when I got the batt replaced but it still worked. My remote still works apparently fine, flash light and all but it wint pair with board. The pairing icon just shows an up arrow in the bottom right of the LCD display. I have tried pairing procedures by both hitting reset button on board mother board and pin hole on back of remote. I have tried holding the power button for 7 secs. I tested the board batt and it is full power. The left rear wheel has resistance/braking permanently, right rear wheel spins freely. Another thing, since the LED on the power button of the board isn’t working, I cant tell if the board is on or off but I assume hitting the button once would turn it on, as it was working fine without the LED light before. My tech thinks the remote isnt working anymore even though it holds power and charges and still flashlights, is it possible the remote battery is too low even though it doesnt say so? Could it b a motherboard issue with the pairing? I want to try ordering a new remote but also feel baffled that the old remote seems to work?
